Create your listings on Tooleo
Creating a great listing on Tooleo is key to getting lots of rentals. We've made this simple and will do most of the work for you.
Two easy steps to get started:
- Take 3-4 good photos of each tool & send us the photos
- Set up your payment account via Stripe
After receiving your photos, we'll set the listings up for you within 2 business days and you'll be ready to go.
Step 1: Take 3-4 good photos
- Photograph the full tool from different angles — don't crop out the brand name or model label
- Include at least one close up photo of the make and model of the tool, if possible.
- Select a neutral background — the concrete floor, a blank wall, a landscape, a sheet if needed.
- Use natural light if you can; avoid dark garages or harsh shadows
- Include any key accessories in the frame if they're part of the rental
- Send the photos of all tools to build@tooleo.co using the email address you signed up for Tooleo.
Step 2. Set up your payment account via Stripe
You only have to do this one time, even if you list many tools. Create your Stripe account here.
We use Stripe, a global payment processor, to process payments. You simply connect your bank account via Stripe to Tooleo (the process is highly secure--Tooleo doesn't have access to your bank details--it's just like setting up Venmo or Paypal).
After your Stripe account is set up, the money you make from renting tools gets automatically deposited into your bank account. Easy peasy!
